Here’s the story. This truck did a hit and run on my car, but we caught it on camera. Before we file the police report – I need to know the exact details.

The truck is a Ford, I can see that, but which model?

F150, F250, F350, Quad Cab, Heavy Duty, year? I need all the exact details.

Here are some things I can point out that may help.

-It’s Maroon, the bottom edge is lined with silver.
-4×4 is written in i believe solid white in somewhat big letters.
-The headlights are squared, the blinkers are below them.
-The grill is all silver and it is curved up on the top a little above the headlights.
-It has those small orange lights on the top of the windshield, which the top is heavily lined with silver, showing it is a work truck.
-It has 2 doors back windows are thin and as tall as the standard windows.
-I believe the bottoms of the 2 doors have the little silver step lining things.
-The side mirrors are not silver, they are either maroon or black or dark grey.
-It’s definitely a work truck for something like land work maybe or metal scrapping? idk you tell me. -it has what are they called wood racks?

Every detail possible would be great, and I greatly appreciate anyone that could help me.

I definitely need to know the year? What do cabs mean?
Also what is it called when they take the truck and add the lights on the top and the silver on the top to make it a work truck?

    Looks like a F250 4×4 extended cab

The truck is most probably an F-250 4×4 Super Cab, but could be an F-350 without the dual rear wheels it’s hard to tell. It has a chrome visor it looks like, and the little lights on top of the windshield are clearance lights, it looks like it has tubular side step rails and “rookie sticks” (I don’t know the proper name for them, they’re to help see the width of the front of the truck). The year could be any where from a 1999 to a 2005/2006 (I’m not sure when Ford redesigned the truck).
    The cab means:
    Regular cab= no back seat
    Super Cab= small back seat
    Super Crew= full back seat.
    Hope this helps.
