I’m a little technically challenged ;)

My daughter wants to play an online/character game that has these requirements:

Minimum Requirements]
CPU: Celeron 500MHz
RAM: 64MB
HDD: 300MB Disk Space
OS: MS Windows 98/ME/2K/XP
VGA: 3D Acceleration Card
SOUND: None
NETWORK: 56kbps Modem

Our old PC has Crashed and I’m thinking about getting this used PC that has these specifications:

Intel 915G Express chipset

Intel Pentium 4 processor with 800MHz front side bus and Hyper-Threading and 1MB L2 cache

Four DIMM slots

non-ECC dual channel shared2 DDR2 SDRAM system memory (400MHz)

Max memory up to 4GB

Integrated Intel Graphics Media Accelerator 900

7200RPM serial ATA

Eight USB 2.0 (two front and six rear)

one Ethernet (RJ45)

one nine-pin serial (16550-compatible)

one parallel (25-hole, bi-directional)

one VGA out

stereo line-in (minijack)

microphone-in (minijack-front)

speakers/line-out (minijack)

headphone (minijack-front)

Uses USB Keyboard & Mouse

Can anyone tell me will this do? I’m a little concerned over the VGA…it has a requirement of 3D acceleration card…and I think the PC has a 900 acceleration card….

Do I buy it separately???

I’m quite sure any computer sold in the last 10 years will be able to run this game.

Don’t worry about these requirements. They are quite low.

you will be fine, as other answer, any pc made in the last 10 years will run that game.
it only needs 64mb ram. the average user now has 4096mb (4gb)

also you dont say how much ram? the max is 4gb but that doesn’t mean there is 4gb fitted. at a guess i would say 512mb (1/2 gb) of ram is fitted.

if you dont mind me saying, even though that pc will run that game, it is still quite old and will not run any modern game.
i have seen P4 3.0GHz processors selling for $10 used.
that pc is roughly worth about $30
i dont know your budget, but you could buy this for now but plan on getting a better pc in the future
