Running more than one Antivirus will not harm your computer. However, It may make your computer run slower because more RAM is devoted to your Antivirus, For instance, My computer was full of viruses after my brother was on it for two weeks so I ran 9 Antivirus and anti malware programs on it I just couldn’t do anything else because all of the RAM was consumed. I only had 1g of RAM you have two. So running two should be alright until they run virus scans at the same time, then you will have some performance reduction.

Never run 2 resident antivirus applications at once. Using both simultaneously can cause your computer to hang or momentarily freeze as the AV’s try to scan the same object at once, causing clashes.

It depends on how much memory and the system requirements for the software take.
Check out these requirements for both of the anti viruses that you are looking to install.

Also do your research on the internet to ensure that they do not conflict if installed together.

No it’s not going to harm your computer, but a conflict might happen. Why don’t you just use KIS (Kaspersky internet security) it’s working perfectly on my notebook and easy to use.

Edit @Iknow omg Microsoft essential security is one of the worst AV engine I’ve ever seen in my entire life, it even failed in most tests.

I don’t think it would harm your PC but using more than one can cause conflicts between the two AV programs. However with that being said about a month or so ago while doing a Windows update a program listed as an optional download came up called ‘Microsoft Security Essentials’ and I went ahead and downloaded it and have been rather impressed with it. It disables Windows Defender but it never found anything anyway. I have Trend Micro right now but it does not clash with MSE so I’ve kept both. And on a couple of occasions it has found things that Trend has missed so I would say it seems to be a pretty solid second line of defense for my PC. Check it out http://www.microsoft.com/Security_Essentials/

it will not harm your pc, but will slow down your pc. and don’t run them at the same time. and why do you install two? i think one is enough if it is powerful enough, like iTopsoft Anti-spyware. better not install two to slow pc speed
