im building a mouse trap car for school and i got a kit.its telling me to wrap it so it “just” fits but a diagram is telling me to wrap it many times on the axle(tube
or stick tht holds the wheels)i tried to do it many times and it broke the wood!=[.i superglued it back together so should i do once or many times?please help is due TOMORROW

sorry, has to be many times. Once will not hold and you don’t get good power transfer. Many times will do better before the string slips off.
