where to buy chrome or mesh for a car vent or grille upgrade?

does anyone know where i can buy some mesh that would look similar to what you might see on a strut grille or any grille with the diamond shaped mesh? ive seen online you can buy it at hardware stores but i cant seem to find any…im taking off a hood vent and i want to wrap it in mesh and apply it with epoxy. anyone know where to find some good mesh? help appreciated.
