The scariest thing that happened to me was when I was four i was walking around a pole while my mum was chatting to a friend nearby I moved away from the pole and then a car reversed into the pole I was walking around a few moments ago. The Car wrapped around the pole and the elderly couple inside had concussion and the husband was in a coma for the next week. FREAKY!

Once my and brother walked out the library with my dad and sister (I was about 10ish) and then we turned around and my dad and sister had literally vanished. You do not even want to comprehend the 3 minutes of terror that was haha.

I was in my mid teens. I was reading all sorts of books that created a problem for me spiritually and had a bad experience I don’t want to go into too much detail except it was scary. But I can tell you this much those books saw the last of me. I never took them out of the school library again.

I don’t think it was so scary as it was just plain weird. I live in an older home, my family and I have all had the whole ’spirit’ experience except mine happens every night when I’m alone. I feel them around me constantly. They try and talk to me when my ear is up in the air. They send me shivers. They mess with my lights. It’s very normal to me now but still a bit eerie.

That was divine intervention, and I had a similar experience. In fifth grade, my school planned a weekend long camping trip at a real campsite close to Austin, Texas. My teacher chose me, and 3 other girls to ride along in her car. A few days before the trip, I had all this homework that I had to finish. If not, then my mom wouldn’t let me go.
The thing about my mom though, is that she’ll say no, but never ever sticks to it. I pretty much did whatever I wanted and never got punished. Anyway, me being the slick kid I thought I was, I decided to do about half the work before the trip, and the rest when I got back. I showed the completed work to my mom and hid the rest under my mattress.

On the day of the trip, my mom dropped me off at school, hung around chatting with the teacher, and finally left. After about an hour or so, we were finally ready to go. Just as I was stepping into the car, my mom came speeding down the street honking frantically. I thought maybe I had forgotten something. But no, somehow, by the grace of god, she found the work I had hidden under the mattress. And for the first time ever, she stuck to her word and refused to let me go. I used every tactic that I had to get my way, but it didn’t work.

At around 2 a.m., the phone rings. The principal wanted to confirm whether I had gone on trip. It turned out that a car slammed head on to ms. Steiners car. She and Nancy were killed instantly. And guess who it was that should’ve been sitting where Nancy was. Me.
To this day I’m still baffled as to why my life was spared. It’s crazy. Why, man? Why..

One week during the summer of July 1983 my father had heard unexplained ‘breathing sounds’ outside our bathroom window in the middle of the night. This had occurred on two or three different occasions during the course of that week. He told my mother about it, but she told him that it was probably just someone trying to scare him – that was until she finally heard it for herself. Our neighbors and other family members had tried offering other explanations for what it was that they had heard. Perhaps, it was a Bear or maybe a panther. Our back yard, where the bathroom window was located, faced a huge mountain of woods; so the possibility of a wild animal seemed very plausible. At least plausible to those who had not heard it.

At the time, I was only around 12 years old and I had not heard the mysterious breathing. After that week, the mysterious breathing sound was not heard…….at least until the very next summer (1984) around the same time. My friend at the time, Jeff H, was well of the experiences my mother and father had the year before. But like most people tend to be, I think he was a bit skeptical. He and I had planned to camp out in the front yard one evening, but we were undecided where to place our tent. Reluctantly, he convinced me to place the tent with its opening facing the woods – BIG MISTAKE!

Later that evening we decided it was time to get in the tent and get some sleep. As I put my hand on the zipper of the tent door, a feeling came over me and told me to listen. I put my other hand up and told Jeff to be quiet a moment. We paused in silence for about 30 seconds listening. We heard nothing. So, I opened the tent. I went in first, followed by Jeff, and then zipped the tent door shut. At that instance, it started.

From the direction of the woods came the mysterious breathing that my parents had experienced the year before – and we were outside with it! It got louder and louder and sounded to be getting closer. I looked at Jeff. His eyes were wide open and I swear he had turned white as a ghost. The breathing sound did not sound natural. It is hard to explain, and unless you have experienced it for yourself, you cannot fully comprehend or understand this unearthly breathing sound. It almost sounded electronic or mechanical – it was not natural. Even stranger, we never heard any bushes moving or footsteps – just the ever-increasing sound of the breathing.

We debated (rather quickly) whether to stay put or make a run for it. We decided to make a run for the house. When we got to the door of the house, it was locked! My mother had locked the house doors while she went to take a shower. We pounded on the doors for what felt like an eternity. The breathing continued to make its way toward us, until finally my mother opened the door wrapped in a towel from getting out of the shower.

We never heard the breathing again, and we moved from the house in 1985. It is unknown if any of the residents since have experienced this chilling encounter.
