As long as you don’t leave any outstanding damages…
What about other car pranks (saran wrap, bologna w/ mustard on windows)?

If its a mean ‘ole person they would probably call the cops just cause they can.
But if its to a friend..no…i wouldn’t worry about it.

I’ve done those and haven’t gotten a ticket for anything like that.

I believe that anything done to property that is not yours is considered vandalism and is illegal. I’m not sure what you would consider “outstanding damages?”

The fact that someone’s vehicle who is expecting that the car he/she has left parked in public view will remain, look and sound the same as when they left it is everyone’s right. That said, how do you think you would feel if this was done to your car? Remember, someone went without things they wanted to have enough money to own this car.

I know if I am paying for the next 5-6 years on a car, I definitely do not want anything to happen to it.

anything like that is vandalism and illegal. as far as not leaving damages, even a minor paint scratch is damage, whether you see it or not. in some places you can be shot if caught messing with someones vehicle, so best leave them alone.
