If you saran wrap a car and it rains, will it fade the paint? if yes, how bad?

I don’t think the rain would hurt it but if it sits in the sun the saran wrap will ruin the paint. Repainting will be your only fix. The heat and the ultra violet radiation from the sun will decompose the wrap right into the pigment.
