i have bought a nitro car and there is a little pack of batteries for reciever but wont fit in reciever box?

well there is this little pack of batteries wrapped in plastic with a lead to connect to my reciever but wont fit in the reciever box? the car is a st1 thunder tiger.

    R U sure the battery pack is not for the car? Usually the vehicle takes a battery pack and the remote control takes single batterys.
