    I suggest:

    1. Wrap a thick layer of paper towels around the bottom of the stems,
    2. Dip base of stems and towels into cold water to soak, AND…
    3. Then place the bouquet on a layer of ice in a cooler [WITHOUT any plastic bags] with a cloth or dishtowel placed over them to keep the cold around the flowers, but without being an air tight seal.

The temp is fine, they should be perfectly ok, florist keep flower in the cold fridge anyway. You could get a wet paper towel and foil and wrap it up that way.

You shouldn’t have any problem with the temperature just keep the stems in water if you can and when you get home cut a half inch off the stems and put them directly in a vase of water with flower preservative if you can get it.

Flowers are kept in coolers at your local florist not freezers. They use a packet of food that dissolves in water, you can get them at your florist. Unless the car is too cold or too hot. just put them in a vase in a box and stuff newspaper around the vase to hold the flowers up. Keeping them from crushing or being banged around. Fill the vase 3/4 of the way full and remember to add more water when you get them home.

I’d get a box just big enough to hold the roses, cut the stems at an angle, wrap a wet towel around the base, lay something soft for the roses to lay on, close the box, and the temperature should keep them fine. The cooler would be fine but it’s a bit excessive unless you just want too.
