Can I get arrested for Saran Wrapping my friends car at midnight.?

    If your friend has a sense of humor then no. But if he calls the cops then pretty much yeah. If they roll up while your doing it, tell them that its your car and you are protecting it from bird poop ??

    if they dont arrest people for calling me up and threatening to kill me, why would they arrest you for a non-harmful joke.

    As long as there is no damage to the vehicle, then no.

    However, if your friend does not have a sense of humor, they can request charges be brought up for harassment.

    You could if you get caught by the cops. but if its a decent friend and you don’t get caught, the only way you could get arrested was if that person presses charges on you.

    If your friend chooses to press charges then yes. How friendly are you with this friend?

    The only other worry would be the neighbors. They might hear something going on outside, get nervous, and call the cops.

    Be stealth like and quick – that’s my advice : )

    Provided you’re not doing any damage and your friend doesn’t call the police to press charges, you’ll be fine. If a cop happens to spot you while you’re doing it, he may ask you to stop and clean up the mess. If that happens, cut your losses and do as you’re told, and you’ll be fine. If you argue the point too much, you may be cited for disorderly conduct.

    Ultimately, being as how it’s a harmless prank, you most likely won’t experience any consequences. If however your prank causes your friend to miss an appointment or be late to work, you may be liable for those losses if he presses it.

    If your caught trespassing on private property yes. If you damage the car in any way during (or because of) the process yes. If your friend is close to a police officer and wants to scare the pants off you as a return prank yes.

    Some friends would take this as fun, some would freak. If your friend would freak I would suggest not going for it cause who knows what would happen. If your friend is a great sport with jokes (and not too completely obsessed with his car) then as long as your careful it would probably lead to no more than a return prank.

    If the police see you, they may perceive you as attempting to steal or vandalize your friends car. Most likely they would detain you and notify the car’s owner. At that point an arrest would occur if the owner desired to press charges.

    you could I was working at a gas station Murphy’s at wal-mart and a fellow work would wait until I wasn’t paying attention and would move my car when I wasn’t looking so one night he left his truck there so I pay for one of those huge rolls of toilet paper that gas stations have and toilet papered his entire truck I went under the truck around the truck took it up the antenna around the mirrors he got a good laugh out of it the next day when him and his girlfriend came to work when I saw her she laughed so hard she about pissed her pants it was freaking awesome I would go for it but a group of teenagers came by and said they where going to call the police I told them I worked there then I finished what I was doing and went home GO FOR IT your friend wont press charges that’s why there friends but he will probably get you back so have fun you only live once
