For example on this website http://www.ultimatedecals.com/subcat.php?cat=40 on the very bottom.. it says “Note: All the company or product logos included on this site are the trademarks or registered trademarks of their respective companies, and are provided as a convenience only for their lawful use. It is the expressed intent of Ultimate Decals that any unauthorized use of the aforementioned items by the purchaser shall be the sole responsibility of the purchaser. Purchase of any product from Ultimate Decals is not authorization for the use of any specific logo or trademark. By clicking ‘Add to Cart’ you convey to Ultimate Decals you have authority (if need be) to use the above artwork.”.. So what my question is.. IS it lawful to sell stickers of a copyrighted logo?

NO OPINIONS PLEASE JUST EDUCATED FACTS!!
INCLUDING SOURCE WOULD BE NICE..

It is illegal to make a copy of a piece of copyright artwork – including a logo – without the express permission of the copyright owner.

Some of the decals they sell there.. the Dodge Ram and Chevy ones, for example, are logos whose owners charge LARGE fees for the licensing rights to use their logos. The company is either paying those licensing fees, or is going to be busted soon.

It is not the USE of a copyrighted logo that is illegal – it the act of making an illegal copy.
