how does the GH custom face plates stick on?

do they just clip on or are they a sticker? Because i was thinking of getting one i saw but am not keen on trying to stick iton

if its for wii look in the back of the guitar, thats a lock and unlock thingy and make it unlocked and pull the faceboard out. not the one near the neck of the guitar behind the body one.
