Awesome Car Decals, Car Stickers, Car Wraps, and Car Tattoos

I want to put a vinyl graphic of one of my favorite characters from the anime Sailor Moon. The character is the Wicked Lady, or Rini’s form when she’s part of the Dark Moon Clan. I need to know what kind of permission I need, where do I get it, how much will it cost? I am a HUGE fan of Rini and the other Sailor Scouts.
Ok someone said that I couldn’t do it with out permission. I’ve seen other people do it, are they wrong to because now I’m confused!

   You have two options: find an authorized seller that has the graphic you want. Or contact the copyright holder and ask for permission. In the first case, the seller has already gotten permission and is paying a license fee. In the second case, good luck. If they’re anything like Disney, they will turn you down because they want to control all uses of their creations. If you use it without permission, you might one day get a threatening letter from their corporate legal department.

   The person who told you that it’s okay as long as you don’t sell it did not give you reliable information.

   You have to ask for permission as long as your not trying to make money off of it. If you’re asking a professional to do it, you’re already paying him to do it. It’s like buying songs from iTunes. You pay iTunes for the song because it’s copyrighted. Where are you getting the Sailor Moon graphic done? It sounds really cool!
